We are delighted to announced a new 1-day Amateur Riders Schooling Preparation Course for current A1 Category Licence holders fully-funded by CARE (workinracing.ie) . The first date scheduled date for this course Thursday, 25th of January, 2018. Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and each course is limited to 6 riders.
This is new 1-day course for 2017 for Amateur Riders who currently hold an A1 category licence. The course has been designed to provide intensive training on schooling over obstacles, simulator coaching and an introduction to fitness levels and training required for race-riding. The course will include video analysis of your riding using Dartfish software.
This course offers professional training of the highest standard for riders who plan to apply for a category A3 Qualified Riders licence or those who plan to apply for a conditional rider’s licence in the future. This is a FULLY-FUNDED training course supported by CARE (http://www.workinracing.ie) and is a training opportunity not to be missed. Training is delivered by RACE staff and includes video analysis of your riding over obstacles.

9am: Registration & Briefing at RACE barn – report ready to ride
9.15am: Tack Up 1st Lot – onto walker
9.35am: Information & Practical session on fitness, stretching & warm-up before riding
10.05am: 1st Lot – RACE Indoor School – video recording (poles & hurdles)
11.15am: 2nd Lot – RACE Indoor School & Gallops (hurdles & fences)
1.45pm: video review of morning training
2.30pm: Simulator training
